We recently held the end of semester labstaff party. Tres cooked up some tasty grub! Among the labstaff that attended, we had two junior labstaffers (babies) present with another on the way. This year has the most babies and expecting mothers we've had in a long time--Two expecting mothers (one staff and one spouse of a staff) and two babies.
It seems like the labstaff move together in phases: most of the lab staff are single, then we have a wave of engagements and marriages, and then once the babies start coming, most of the staff graduate, and it starts all over again.
